Bachelor Degree candidates are required to successfully complete 120 credit hours for their degree. Credits include a minimum of 66 communications credits and 54 general education credits and must meet specific distribution requirements.
Length of Program
Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications program takes four academic years (8 semesters). East semester is 15 weeks. The fall semester begins the day after Labor Day. The spring semester begins the third week in January and concludes the second Friday in May. Students are required to complete programs in a time span not to exceed one-and-a-half times the normal length.
