
On January 18, students at NESCom packed for a trip that would be like nothing else they have experienced. Waking up on January 19, was the start to a day they will never forget. Loading into vans, and following NESCom's remote unit to Springfield , MA was a day which students had never imagined for themselves.
ESPN-360 and NESCom partnered to produce and stream three of the games at the Spalding Hoophall Classic at Springfield College 's Blake Arena Sunday, Jan. 20. These games streamed on ESPN360.com .
These games were part of the High School All-Star Tournament hosted by the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield , MA , Jan. 18-21, and featured nine of the top 25 high school basketball teams in the country and many of the top 100 players.
Students and staff members as well as several sub-contractors and Hoop TV employees came together to operate NESCom's Mobile Production Unit, the unit's four channel EVS replay system, seven cameras, audio and Grass Valley switcher.
