CAPS AND GOWNS, INVITATIONS
Each graduate will be given 10 invitations for family and guests. Invitations will be available to pick up in the Business Office beginning Monday, April 12. If you require more than 10 invitations, please come to the office to be put on a waiting list. Students on the waiting list will be contacted as invitations become available. All commencement regalia will be distributed during rehearsal.
REHEARSAL
Marching practice will be held on Thursday, May 13 at 4pm in the Newman Gymnasium. All commencement regalia (caps, gowns, tassels, honor cords) will be distributed during rehearsal. If you are participating in graduation, you are required to attend!
SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHS
NorthStar Photography will be taking senior pictures in the back foyer of the Newman Gymnasium on the day of graduation. All seniors will need their photo taken for the senior class photo. Please arrive at 3:30pm with your cap and gown. For your convenience, packets with order information will be given out to each graduate prior to the day of senior photos. You will have the opportunity to place your order on the day you have your senior picture taken. There will be cookies and punch there for you to enjoy.
PARKING
Commencement guests will be directed to parking areas by the Security Staff.
GUESTS AND ACCOMMODATIONS
It is important that you make your plans early. Eastern Maine Community College and Husson University are both holding graduation the same day as NESCom and hotels will fill up very quickly. As the date nears, we will post which hotels still have accommodations available by click on "Accommodations" below.
If you are making plans for gathering after the ceremony, you should plan for the ceremony to last about two hours.
For additional questions, please contact linda@nescom.edu or reeda@nescom.edu by email or call (207) 941-7176.
A REMINDER FROM BILL DEVINE & CHRIS SHORETTE
The Hire Me website is ready to launch and you need to get your resume and profile to Bill or Chris, your supporting materials to your department head and arrange for your photo with Larry Ayotte. While we will add materials after launch, to be listed from the first day you need to act on this quickly!
It’s a very competitive job market this year so we hope you will take advantage of this and every other opportunity to capitalize on the support available from Career Services!
CONGRATULATIONS CLASS OF 2010!
