Exit Counseling

If you borrowed Student Loans to pay for your education you MUST complete an Exit Counseling Program before your degree is issued. NESCom's Exit Counseling Program has 2 parts: Online Exit Counseling and an In Person Group Exit Interview.

The online counseling session takes about 30 minutes and informs you of your rights and responsibilities for repaying your student loans. The online session can be completed anytime after April 1st of your last semester for May Graduduates and November 1st of your last semester for December Graduates. Click here to complete your Online Exit Counseling.

The Group Exit Interview is a more "hands on" approach to learning everything that comes with repaying your student loans. The session will last about 30 minutes and cover several topics including how to consolidate your loans, when they will come due, what you should expect, techniques for saving money, and what to do if you can't make your loan payments.

The Spring 2010 in-Person Group Exit Interview will be held on April 29th, 2010 at the Center for Family Business. The 30 minute sessions will be offered at 9am, 9:30am, 10am, 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:00pm, 12:30 pm, 1:30pm, 2pm and 2:30pm.

*All graduating students that borrowed a student loan at anytime during their NESCom career MUST complete the online Exit Counseling session AND attend one of these in-Person Group Exit Interview sessions before their degree can be released.*
